The Islamic Call University Hackathon 2025 is a unique opportunity for students, developers, innovators, and changemakers to come together and build solutions that address real-world problems through the lens of technology and ethical impact.

This year's challenge theme is:

"Tech for Community Empowerment"

Participants will be tasked with creating solutions that improve education, health, economic opportunity, governance, or religious engagement in meaningful and scalable ways.

Whether you're interested in developing web apps, mobile platforms, AI tools, or data solutions β€” this challenge is your chance to create technology that serves both humanity and higher values.

Requirements

πŸ”§ What to Build

Participants are expected to build a working prototype that addresses a real-world challenge in one of the approved tracks. Your project can be a:

  • Web application

  • Mobile app

  • Hardware integration (if applicable)

  • Data-driven tool or dashboard

  • AI/ML-based solution

  • Islamic educational platform or digital Da’wah tool

You may use any programming language or framework, but your final solution should:

  • Solve a real-world problem

  • Be ethical and socially beneficial

  • Include a working demo or prototype (not just an idea)

You must submit the following via Devpost before the deadline:

  1. Project Title & Description

    • A brief summary of your project: what it does, why it matters, and who it helps.

  2. Demo Video (2–3 minutes)

    • A screen-recorded or filmed video showcasing your project in action.

    • Explain the features, purpose, and functionality clearly.

  3. Working Prototype or Code Repository

    • GitHub, GitLab, or ZIP file of your code

    • Include setup instructions or a live demo link if hosted

  4. Team Members

    • List all contributors and their roles.

  5. Track & Tools Used

    • Mention the track you’re submitting to (e.g., Education, Health, Governance)

    • List key technologies, APIs, or platforms used
